Prestonwood Christian Academy serves more than 1,600 students enrolled at three campuses: Plano (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 12th grade), PCA North in Prosper (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 7th grade) and PCAplus Virtual Academy. PCA North is now enrolling through 8th grade. The school has been recognized as having one of the strongest Christian education programs in the country providing intentional biblical worldview training and integration. PCA places great value on the growth of students’ spiritual health in addition to their scholastic endeavors and co-curricular activities. In addition to PCA’s spiritual development plan, the school promotes a rigorous Liberal Arts academic program. The graduating class of 2017 was offered more than $10 million in scholarship for academics, arts and athletics from universities and other institutions of higher learning. PCA is currently accepting applications. Interested families are invited to take a campus tour or attend an upcoming School Preview to learn more! Details and registration are available at prestonwoodchristian.org/admissions.

  • PCA is accredited by AdvancED and earned Exemplary Accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
  • The student/faculty ratio at PCA in Plano is 12:1, and even lower at PCA North in Prosper.
  • Since the first senior class of 2002, PCA’s 1,527 graduates have been offered almost $100 million in scholarships to universities around the country.
  • The core philosophy of PCA is Kingdom education focusing on bringing the home, church, and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation. Kingdom education is the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ.
  • PCA places great importance on working with parents to educate the whole child and partner to allow students to fully develop into all that God has planned for them. PCA has intentionally created staff positions such as Director of Diversity, Director of Biblical Worldview and Director of Campus Ministries to ensure the partnership happens at both student and parent levels.

  1. What we love most about PCA North

Our family loves being a part of the PCA North community! We have been so blessed by this school’s commitment to educate the whole student. Our daughter has thrived in the caring environment they have created. She has grown academically & spiritually as a result of the dedication of the amazing staff here. We love the consistency of truth that she is taught at home, church, & at school. We are excited to be a part of this vibrant, nurturing, & growing school and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing kingdom education for their family!

  2. PCA is a blessing to our family!

I cannot say enough to express how much we love PCA. This is my daughter’s first year at PCA and I have seen such tremendous growth in her personally, educationally but most of all spiritually.
We have been blessed with such an amazing Godly teacher that leads by example but pushes each child to seek their inner best version of themselves.
I cannot wait to watch my child grow in her relationship with Christ and academically.
I know God put our family exactly where we are meant to be and I look forward to what the future holds.

  3. Kingdom education and highest quality education

I enrolled my son the first year PCA opened. He started in Pre K 3 and is now in first grade. The staff and teachers are truly exceptional! They care about each individual child, their learning, and any needs they may have. The families are always there to help and support one another as well. Children at PCA receive the highest quality education with biblical learning – my child is thriving academically and spiritually. I am a single mom with an adopted son and can’t imagine my life without the love and support I receive from PCA!

  4. PCA North

This is our second year at PCA North and we love it. I feel confident that my children are growing academically as well as spiritually. The teachers are incredibly gifted and adored by their classes. They all have amazing abilities to integrate Bible and academics so seamlessly to make for such well rounded learning. We have excellent enrichment programs such as art, spanish, technology, library, PE, and music. And there are so many opportunities for parent envolvment and I love that I feel welcomed to be a part of my children’s education.

It is such an privilege to be a part of this amazing school that has the on going support of the larger Plano campus. And while North is still growing, I do not feel as though my children’s experience is anything less then the students at Plano. I feel PCA North has offered my children more than I could have expected and continues to exceed my expectations daily. I can’t imagine my children anywhere else.

  5. Our daughter has been at PCA North for 2 years, While the first year was wonderful we have been greatly disappointed this year. We pay the same tuition rate as Plano and tuition keeps increasing and we have none of the amenities Plano has. Many other issues has risen this year for us so we are leaving. There are many other Christian schools in the area that you may not have to sell an organ for your child to attend there.

    • Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m sad to hear that you are leaving PCA North. The PCA North Campus is in its early stages of growth as our Plano Campus was when it began more than 20 years ago. We are thrilled about our recent announcements which show how much growing we’ve been able to do at PCA North in such a short amount of time. Tuition dollars are allocated to the education of students and amenities such as strong, proven curriculum and top level, certified teachers, which is the priority for student success. At PCA, we understand that the cost of a private school education may be challenging, which is why PCA provides need-based tuition assistance through the Sponsor-A-Child program. The Sponsor-A-Child program provides more than $2.7 million per year to families at both PCA Plano and PCA North.

  6. PCA North has been the biggest blessing to our family. Our kids are getting a top notch education but most importantly, they are getting Biblical truth fed to them daily. These incredible teachers and staff love the Lord and our children. It is truly a Kingdom education.

  7. Excited about PCA North and our community!

PCA North has blessed my family since the doors opened. We love that our children are thriving in a small new school environment, backed by a school with 20 plus years of experience. Our children have been challenged in their learning, but the staff also embraces each student’s individual learning styles. The Kingdom Education of PCA focuses on partnering with us to reinforce what we are teaching at home. It has been so much fun to be a part of the beginning seeing sports and other programs added to the curriculum. We are so excited to see what God will do through PCA North for our community in the coming years!

  8. PCA North in Prosper - children thriving

PCA North has such a positive environment where my children continue to thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally. It has been a blessing to partner with a school that is so committed to excellence in Kingdom Education. The teachers are skilled in creating meaningful learning experiences with a strong biblical foundation. There is a clear sense of community and family here that we especially enjoy.
